✨ Product Overview

Meet the Dwarf Turk's Cap Cactus — a stunning, architectural cactus that’s a showstopper for any collector’s shelf! 🌵
This extraordinary cactus features a perfectly globular, deep green stem with bold, rounded ribs. Each rib is lined with sharp, hooked spines that transition from creamy-white at the base to fiery reddish-brown at the tips, creating a dramatic, star-like pattern across the body. The cactus is crowned with a vibrant orange-red cephalium (the iconic "Turk's cap"), a woolly, flower-bearing structure that gives the species its name. It grows slowly into a compact, bonsai-like specimen, perfect for windowsills, desk displays, or as a statement focal point in any cactus collection. In summer, it blooms with tiny, pinkish-red flowers that emerge from the cephalium, adding a delicate touch to its bold form. Every plant is a unique living artwork, with natural variations in spine shape and cephalium size!

💧 Care Guide (Collector's Favorite!)

This rare, low-maintenance cactus is perfect for seasoned collectors and succulent enthusiasts:
  • ☀️ Sunlight: Thrives in bright, direct sun to maintain its vibrant green color and strong spine growth. Rotate the pot weekly for even growth.
  • 💦 Watering: Follow the "soak and dry" method. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry (every 2-3 weeks in growing season). Keep completely dry in winter during dormancy to avoid root rot.
  • 🌡️ Temperature: Ideal growing temperature 20-35°C (68-95°F). Can tolerate short periods down to 5°C (41°F) when dry. Protect from frost!
  • 🪴 Soil: Use a very fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with high grit content (perlite, pumice, lava rock) for excellent aeration.
  • ⚠️ Special Note: The hooked spines are sharp — handle with care to avoid injury! The cephalium is a permanent, mature structure; do not damage it.
