✨ Product Overview

Meet the Astrophytum myriostigma — a stunning, sculptural cactus that’s a must-have for any succulent collection! ✨
This extraordinary cactus features a unique, star-shaped body with 4-8 prominent vertical ribs, covered in dense, tiny white flecks that create a soft, frosted, "bishop's cap" appearance. The body is a vibrant, healthy green, with a smooth, velvety texture that’s absolutely mesmerizing. It grows slowly into a compact, globular shape, perfect for windowsills, desk displays, or as a focal point in any cactus/succulent arrangement. In spring, it blooms with large, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that bloom at the top of the cactus, creating a breathtaking contrast against its frosted green body. Every plant is a unique living artwork, with natural variations in rib count and fleck pattern! 🌵

💧 Care Guide (Beginner-Friendly!)

This ultra-easy, low-maintenance cactus is perfect for new plant parents and seasoned collectors:
  • ☀️ Sunlight: Thrives in bright, direct sun to maintain its compact shape and vibrant color. Rotate the pot weekly for even growth.
  • 💦 Watering: Follow the "soak and dry" method. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry (every 3-4 weeks in growing season). Keep completely dry in winter during dormancy to avoid root rot.
  • 🌡️ Temperature: Ideal growing temperature 18-30°C (64-86°F). Can tolerate short periods down to 5°C (41°F) when dry. Protect from frost!
  • 🪴 Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with high grit content (perlite, pumice, volcanic rock) for excellent aeration.
  • ⚠️ Special Note: The white flecks are natural and protect the cactus from sunburn — do not wipe them off!
