✨ Product Overview

Meet the Superkabuto Star Cactus — a stunning, premium variegated succulent that’s the crown jewel of any Astrophytum collection! ✨
This extraordinary cactus features a perfectly round, globular body with 8 distinct vertical ribs, creating a flawless 8-pointed star silhouette when viewed from above. The deep green body is covered in dense, tiny white flecks, with a striking bright yellow starburst pattern radiating from the center. Each rib is lined with large, fluffy white woolly areoles (100% spineless!), giving it a soft, plush appearance. It grows extremely slowly into a compact, bonsai-like specimen, perfect for windowsills, desk displays, or as a statement focal point in any succulent arrangement. In spring, it blooms with large, showy yellow flowers with red centers, creating a breathtaking "sunburst" effect against its star-patterned body. Every plant is a unique living artwork, with natural variations in yellow star intensity and white fleck density! 🌵

💧 Care Guide (Beginner-Friendly!)

This ultra-rare, low-maintenance cactus is perfect for new plant parents and seasoned collectors:
  • ☀️ Sunlight: Thrives in bright, direct sun to maintain its vibrant yellow star pattern and compact shape. Rotate the pot weekly for even growth.
  • 💦 Watering: Follow the "soak and dry" method. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry (every 3-4 weeks in growing season). Keep completely dry in winter during dormancy to avoid root rot.
  • 🌡️ Temperature: Ideal growing temperature 18-30°C (64-86°F). Can tolerate short periods down to 5°C (41°F) when dry. Protect from frost!
  • 🪴 Soil: Use a very fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with high grit content (perlite, pumice, lava rock) for excellent aeration.
  • ⚠️ Special Note: 100% spineless! Safe for kids, pets, and anyone who hates pricks! The white flecks and yellow star are natural variegation, not pests.
